The Supervisory Board of BASF Aktiengesellschaft has extended the appointment of chairman Dr Jürgen Hambrecht until the end of the AGM in 2011. Dr Hambrecht’s appointment was originally scheduled to expire in 2007.

The Board also extended the appointments of Klaus Löbbe and Dr Stefan Marcinowski to the Board of Executive Directors. Löbbe’s appointment will now run until the end of the AGM in 2008 and Dr Marcinowski’s until mid-May 2012.
