Lectra revenues up in first half 2006

France-based CAD/CAM equipment and related services for the textiles, leather and industrial fabrics sectors Lectra mixed results for the first six months of 2006.

Whilst second quarter orders for new software licences increased by 6%, new orders for CAD/CAM equipment decreased by 12%. Overall, orders for new software licences and CAD/CAM equipment were down 7% (-€2 million) compared with the second quarter in 2005. However, revenues for the quarter totalled €56.3 million, an increase of 3%.

For the first six months of 2006, orders for new software licences increased by 7%, whilst those for CAD/CAM equipment decreased by 7%. Overall, orders for new software licences and CAD/CAM equipment were down 3% (-€ 1.5 million) relative to the first half of 2005.

Revenues for the six-month period totalled €107.2 million, an increase of 4% compared with the same period in 2005.

European revenues increased 7%, while North American revenues remained stable and Asia-Pacific revenues were down 1%.
