Action sports related apparel, equipment and accessories retailer Zumiez Inc. has reported that total net sales for the four-week period ended July 29 increased 44.6% to $19.8 million compared with $13.7 million for the four-week period ended July 30, 2005. The company's comparable store sales increased 8.4% for the four-week period, versus a comparable store sales increase of 12.7% in the year ago period.

The company completed its acquisition of 19 Fast Forward stores on June 24, although these stores are not included in the company's comparable store base.
