RiteLok XF100, a new cyanoacrylate (CA) industrial adhesive from UK adhesives manufacturer Chemence, is said to offer faster fixture times than other super glue products on the market, and is capable of bonding difficult materials such as cow and goat leather, paper and wood.

The adhesive is particularly useful to manufacturers or assemblers of high volume goods such as leather or plastic parts, where bonding is a key part of the process. These companies should benefit from this new product and may be able to increase their line speeds, therefore improving productivity and reducing costs.

It can be used in a variety of applications, including the assembly of plastic and rubber parts; shoe manufacture and repair; luggage manufacturing; sports equipment manufacture; electrical and electronic devices; medical devices; and maintenance and repair.

RiteLok cyanoacrylates retain over 90% of their strength when heated to 80°C for 90 days and then tested at 21°C. They also exhibit excellent chemical resistance to most oils and solvents including motor oil, leaded petrol, ethanol, propanol and freon.
