Manufacturer of leather, wool and cloth outerwear, women's handbags and men's briefcases and accessories Andrew Marc has appointed Robert Mahan to the newly created position of chief financial officer. Mr Mahan will lead the company's finance and operations staff supporting the growth of its core outerwear businesses.

Mr Mahan served as Group financial director for Liz Claiborne's Special Markets and Accessories Divisions and spent nine years at Tommy Hilfiger, where he last held the position of senior vice president - Finance and Operations.
