Naturally Advanced Technologies records decline in Q2 sales
Sustainable, environmentally-friendly fibres and fabrics provider Naturally Advanced Technologies Inc. has reported lower sales for the three-month period ended June 30.
For the second quarter, sales from its existing sustainable fabric HT Naturals business and excluding Crailar fibre, were $99,883—down 67% compared with $303,754 in the year ago quarter. Net loss for the quarter ended June 30 was $347,353 compared with a net loss of $188,858 for the prior year quarter. These results are primarily a result of a delay in the expected second quarter delivery of its new T-shirt production, which will be available for sale in the third quarter.
