The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) and The Textile Institute (TI) have signed an agreement whereby each association will offer 30% discounted membership in its organisation to people who are current members of the other association. The agreement takes effect on January 1, 2007.

The agreement applies to single-year membership fee payments and is not intended for multiple-year dues payments incorporating multi-year discounts.

US-based AATCC is involved in education, technology transfer, and test method development for the textile design, materials, and wet processing industry.

UK-based TI is a registered charity with individual and corporate members in over 80 countries. It awards textile-related professional qualifications that are recognised internationally.
