US-based chemical company DuPont has named Susan Stalnecker as vice president and treasurer, and Barry Niziolek as vice president and controller, effective September 15. They will succeed John Jessup and Daniel Smith, respectively, both of whom will retire later this year.

Ms Stalnecker, currently vice president - risk management, has held a range of finance leadership roles since joining the company in 1976. She served as the company's treasurer for five years before being appointed to lead the government and consumer market businesses in the DuPont Safety & Protection platform in 2003. She has held her current position since May 2005.

Mr Niziolek, currently vice president - controller designate, has served in broad business analysis and finance leadership positions since joining DuPont in 1981. He was finance director for DuPont Mexico and various businesses, including the DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies platform.
