Elastane brand Creora, developed by Korean company Hyosung Corporation, focused on its new developments for intimate apparel, hosiery and swimwear at the Lyon Mode City show, held on September 2-4.

Creora recently launched a family of fine denier elastane yarns specifically developed for higher gauge warp and circular knit machinery designed to produce lighter weight fabrics. The resulting fabrics are said to be soft, sheer, and featherweight, for underwear that fits well and feels comfortable next to the skin.

The company also exhibited its black elastane Creora H-100D, which delivers ‘blacker’ black garments and hosiery and Creora H-450, which is a low heat settable elastane, is said to be well-suited for heat-sensitive fabrics for intimate apparel, sports, underwear and swimwear, especially with polypropylene.
