US-based manufacturer and distributor of outerwear and sportswear G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. has posted increased sales for the three-month period ended July 31. Net sales totalled $69.1 million and net loss was $1.7 million compared with net sales of $54.6 million and a net loss of $301,000 during the comparable period last year.

For the six-month period ended July 31, the company reported net sales of $83.5 million and a net loss of $10.6 million compared with net sales of $68.3 million and a net loss of $5 million in the 2005 period.
