Texbrasil Guide launched

The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) is offering the largest register of the Brazilian textile sector on its portal, free of charge. It offers information about Brazilian manufacturers, Brazilian and international buyers/agents, service providers and suppliers of machines, equipment and their parts as well as textile trade organisations from Brazil and other countries. Launched just two months ago, the system has already been accessed 140,000 times.

The Guide provides access to information on the textile and apparel industry and its products at different levels, allowing the user to search by country, state, company and product.

The system has been launched in Portuguese and English with an initial database consisting of 20,000 entries.
