Textile sector boosts Bangladesh exports

Bangladesh’s export earnings totalled $1.143 billion in July, an increase of 26.4% compared with July 2005.

According to the country’s Export Promotion Bureau, the woven garments, knitwear, leather and home textile sectors are largely responsible for the export growth.
