Bagir and Eleksen create iPod-enabled suit

Provider of touch-sensitive smart fabrics for consumer electronics in apparel and accessories Eleksen Group plc. Is to collaborate with Israel-based apparel company Bagir to produce its iPod suit for men.  Bagir works with major retailers throughout the US and UK including Brooks Brothers, Lands End and Marks & Spencer and the suits should be available by November.

The Bagir suit jacket integrates Eleksen’s ElekTex smart fabric touchpad technology, which transforms a lapel into a 5-button electronic control panel. The suit is said to be machine-washable and wrinkle-resistant.
