Copeland Sports closes eleven stores

American specialty sports retailer Copeland Sports has commenced the liquidation of eleven stores located in California, Utah, Nevada and Oregon.

CEO of Copeland Sports Barry Soosman said, "Closing these stores was a difficult decision, but one that was necessary for the long term economic benefit of the company.”

The company’s 20 other stores remain open for business selling branded athletic footwear and apparel and include seven specialty shops including Golf, Fitness, Boardshop, Women's, Outdoors, Cycle and Athletics.
