Everlast licenses footwear to ES Originals

Manufacturer and licensor of sporting goods, apparel and footwear Everlast Worldwide has signed a new license with footwear marketer E.S. Originals Inc. to manufacture and distribute athletic and casual footwear for men, women and children. The company will distribute the Everlast-branded products beginning in 2007 to sporting goods, athletic footwear and department stores in the US and Canada. A fully coordinated line of EVST apparel and shoes will be available, in conjunction with the company's apparel licensees.

This new license replaces Everlast's former footwear license with the Meldisco division of Footstar. This change allows EVST to elevate its footwear distribution to match its apparel channels of trade.
