18,780 visitors at Texworld

With 18,780 professional trade visitors from 108 different countries attending the four days of the fair, held in Paris on September 18-21, a 1% increase compared with September 2005.
60% of the visitors were from Europe, with a rising number from Eastern European countries, and in particular Poland, the Czech Republic and Russia represented. 15% of visitors came from Asia and 10% from the United States.
677 exhibitors from 40 different countries presented their latest products at the event with the trend towards natural materials such as wool, silk, cotton and linen still very prominent.
