US-based outdoor apparel and equipment supplier Mountain Hardwear’s new Mastiff Pullover for men uses bio-mimicry Polartec Thermal Pro fabric designed to imitate the insulation properties of animal fur.
 

The pullover provides an efficient insulation layer offering high warmth to weight ratio. A lightweight fleece, it is suitable for backcountry or alpine climbing and includes Polartec Power Dry panels under the arms for increased flexibility, reduced bulk and enhanced moisture transfer; a half zip for ventilation; zipped chest pocket; and Polartec Power Stretch cuffs with thumb loops.

Polartec branded products are produced by US-based company Malden Mills.
