US-based apparel and soft goods marketer Kellwood Company and CRL Group, LLC, have reached an agreement for Kellwood to acquire the assets of CRL Group, LLC, owner of the California-based women’s sportswear brand Vince. The brand is expected to achieve sales in excess of $45 million in 2006.

Rea Laccone will continue as chief executive officer and Christopher LaPolice as president of Vince.

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of October 2006.
