Sales increase at JoS. A. Bank Clothiers

Casual wear, sportswear, footwear and apparel company JoS. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. has posted a sales increase of 14.4% for the month ended September 30 to $46.1 million compared with $40.3 million in September 2005. Comparable store sales increased 2.7% compared with an increase of 12.9% in September 2005.
Total sales for the eight months ended September 30 increased 16.9% to $308.5 million compared with $263.8 million in the comparable prior year period. Comparable store sales increased 5.2%.
