Increased Italian clothing sales in August

According to the Istituto Nazionale di Statistica (ISTAT), Italian retail sales in August increased by 2% compared with August 2005.
Sales increases in the non-food sector were led by footwear, leather and travel goods, which were grew 3.5% in August and clothing, which increased by 2.2%.
