CMP Asia donates to tsunami survivors

25/10/2006

While the tsunami that struck the Asia-Pacific
region in December 2004 may have disappeared from international headlines, the reconstruction programme of the area continues to help restore local economies. However, the disaster has not been forgotten by trade show organiser CMP Asia, which has donated $30,000 to the Sarojin Khao Lak Community Fund to help tsunami survivors in Thailand to rebuild schools.

Beneficiaries of the donation include 166 students and nine teachers from two schools in the Khao Lak area of the Phang-nga province, that are in need of new school buildings, books and equipment.
