Under Armour appoints first chief supply chain officer

US-based branded apparel, footwear and accessories company Under Armour, Inc. has appointed James Calo as the company’s first chief supply chain officer. The new position is designed to strengthen its executive management team as the company continues its expansion in international and domestic markets. Mr Calo will report to chairman and chief executive officer Kevin Plank.
He has 15 years experience in the sports apparel industry following a six year spell as senior vice president of Operations for VF Corporation’s Sportswear Coalition and Nautica Enterprises, Inc., a VF subsidiary.
