Eurojersey sponsors Alberto Ceriani at Ironman

Italian textile company Eurojersey sponsored blind athlete Alberto Ceriani and his escort Claudio Pellegri at the finals of the Ironman World Championship. The 2006 event was held on October 21 in
Over 1600 athletes from all over the world took part in the final, including five disabled athletes.
Alberto was the only blind Italian athlete to take part in the three events (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike ride, 42 km marathon), accompanied by Claudio, who guided him through the competition, which lasted around 14 hours.
Both athletes wore sports apparel made from the company’s Sensitive fabric, which is reported to be extremely light and ultra fine, resistant, breathable and high-performing.
