Esquad launches Armalith jeans for motorcyclists

02/11/2006

French jeans design company Esquad has launched a range of jeans for motorcyclists made of Armalith.

Armalith is a mixed fabric produced from a fibre that is generally used for non-textile applications, such as in the defence, space or offshore sectors. The fibre is reworked, treated and combined with a cotton thread, then woven using a special process. The resulting fabric is at least as strong as leather, yet with the appearance, suppleness and permeability of denim.
