Gerber Technology assumes direct distribution in Spain

US-based manufacturer of integrated software and hardware automation systems Gerber Technology has acquired selected assets of its distributor Rapida Sistemas Integrales, enabling direct operations in Spain with the opening of a new head office in Barcelona. With additional company resources and satellite offices around the country, this move strengthens the company’s ability to deliver enhanced service and support to the local market.

Vice president, global sales, Sam Simpson said, “Europe remains an important and growing market for Gerber Technology. Spain is a strategic market with strong apparel brands and a rapidly growing industrial segment.”
