Rhodia launches new softshell composite fabric

Advantex One, a new softshell composite fabric developed by Rhodia Silicones in partnership with Salomon, has now been launched in retail stores selling the Salomon range of skiwear. Used by Salomon in its Sonic Shield and Advanced Shield premium range jackets and trousers, Advantex One is said to combine lightness and freedom of movement with long-lasting protection in harsh conditions. It features multi-directional stretch composite fabric and is resistant to abrasion and washing cycles. It also includes seamless, ultrasound welding technology for waterproofing.
