Management changes at Ploucquet

Germany-based specialist manufacturer of laminates, coatings, finishing processes and membrane systems Ploucquet Holding GmbH has made several managerial changes.

Martin Friedrich, who has been a member of the board since 2003, has been appointed chairman of the board of management at Ploucquet and will be responsible for production, research and development, personnel, sales and marketing of the company.

Udo von Reinersdorff has been named as managing director finance and accountancy, controlling, information technology, buying and logistics.

Meanwhile, Gerhard Havranek, managing director marketing and sales, is resigning by mutual agreement with the company.

The newly appointed chairman, Mr Friedrich, commented, “The Ploucquet Group has now completed the financial restructuring of the past years and with the new management formation will concentrate on strengthening and expanding its core competences in the areas of functional textiles (with the brand Sympatex), technical textiles and garment textiles (linings, fabrics).”

Headquartered near Munich, Germany, Ploucquet has approximately 400 employees world-wide. It currently operates at three international locations with a distribution network in 21 countries. It includes Sympatex Technologies GmbH as one of its subsidiaries.
