Lija increases staff by 280%

Canadian women’s golf and sportswear company Lija, owned by designer Linda Hipp, has announced that it has recorded a three-year corporate staff growth rate of 280%. 

Founded in 1997, the company stated that it is continuing to increase its corporate and sales staff to meet rapidly expanding demand for the company’s golf and sportswear brands.

The brand’s expansion has been recognised and the company was recently named amongst Canada’s 100 fastest growing companies, for the second consecutive year, by Profit magazine. It has achieved organic annual sales growth of at least 50% for the past seven years. It also recently began selling into the UK, Australia and Japan.

Linda Hipp was also named as one of Canada’s top female entrepreneurs.
