Adidas players debut new footwear models

22/11/2006

David Beckham has officially debuted his new, specially developed adidas football boots. The new +Predator Absolute is called “Swerve”, inspired by Beckham’s ability to curl the ball around the freekick wall. The boot is a part of the sixth generation of Predator football boots exclusively designed and developed with and for the player. The swerve lines dominate the shoe from heel to toe and the boot features white, silver and gold colouring.

The David Beckham +Predator Absolute “Swerve” will be available at selected retailers from November 27 onwards at a retail price of €200.

Various other international football players will officially present the new adidas +F50 Tunit football boot in UEFA competition matches, November 21-3. The football boot is the second generation of the football footwear concept Tunit, which allows players to customise, adapt and tune their boots to different weather and pitch conditions.

The boot features a new design graphic and new colours. The screwing mechanism between studs and chassis has been updated, the material has been altered and the pattern and construction of the upper and lace cover have been moderated to improve fit and ball handling.
