Pyro launches new textile printer

Singapore-based brand Pyro, part of AVS Technologies, has launched a new textile printer, Pristine, with direct textile printing capability.
It is said to be suitable for a wide range of textiles, including woven and knitted cotton, flax, silk, polyester and towel. It prints in CMYK configurations up to a maximum printing width of 1600mm. It has resolutions of up to 1440 x 1440 dpi, printing speeds of up to 28m2/h and an automatic take-up system. A belt transportation system is also included to help to ensure that textiles are laid flat and fed properly for optimum printing results. Other features include a roll to roller feeding device with tensioner, an air heater and an adjustable head height of 5mm to 15mm.
