Footjoy launches golf shoes with Boa Lacing

24/11/2006

US-based golf shoe company FootJoy has launched a new Boa Lacing System for its ReelFit golf footwear range. The lacing system is more commonly used for ski and snowboard footwear.

The collection features adjustable steel micro-cable and a dial system designed to prevent any change in fit during a round of golf.

The shoes are made from waterproof ECL Pittards leather, leather linings, cushioned PU fit-beds, and GelCollar with IntelliTemp cooling.

The Boa Lacing System was developed by US-based Boa Technology Inc.

It is said to improve the fit of performance footwear and other products that require controlled closure as the tightness can be controlled.
