New blacker fibre from RadiciSpandex

29/11/2006

Manufacturer of polyester- and polyether-based elastane fibres for yarn spinning RadiciSpandex Corp., a subsidiary of Italy-based The Radici Group, has launched a new black spandex fibre.

RadiciSpandex S-RB is said to produce a consistent shade of black that prevents ‘grin-through’ when the fabric is stretched. It can be used for sportswear and activewear as well as lingerie and swimwear.

The fibre is available in deniers ranging from 40 to 140 and the company plans to add further counts and colours in the future. It is produced in the USA and meets CAFTA, NAFTA and CBI standards.
