Sales increase at American Eagle Outfitters

November sales for American Eagle Outfitters Inc., increased 21% to $247 million, compared with $203.5 million for November 2005. Comparable store sales increased 14% for the month. Year-to-date sales for the 43 weeks to November increased 18% to $2.07 billion, compared with $1.76 billion for same period in 2005, whilst comparable store sales increased 11%.
American Eagle Outfitters designs and sells its own brand of casual clothing, outerwear, footwear, and swimwear. It currently operates 836 stores.
