04/12/2006

Microsoft has linked France-based CAD/CAM fashion technology supplier Lectra with the worldwide launch of its new operating system, Windows Vista. The connection relates to Kaledo 3D Trend, a new Lectra project developed with Windows Vista, which will go on sale next year, and enables designers to create and animate trend boards by composing a collection in three dimensions, and adjust styles and designs using other multimedia components such as sound or video. Fashion companies will be able to use the system to showcase their new trends, to customers and accelerate collection releases.
