Sales increase at G-III Apparel Group in Q3

US-based manufacturer and distributor of outerwear and sportswear G-III Apparel Group, has posted improved sales results for the third quarter of fiscal 2007.
For the three-month period ended October 31, net sales increased by 31.1% to $244.7 million, compared with $186.6 million in the prior year period, and net income increased by 57% to $23.3 million compared with $14.8 million.
For the nine-month period ended October 31, net sales totalled $328.2 million compared with $254.9 million in the corresponding period last year, and net income was $12.7 million compared with $9.8 million.
