The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has appointed Emanuel Chirico, CEO at Phillips-Van Heusen; David Edelman, chief financial officer (CFO) at Kenneth Cole; Rick Helfenbein, president at Luen Thai USA; and James McMurray, senior vice president (VP) and general manager at SAP Retail, Inc. to its board of directors.

AAFA is the national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn products companies, and their suppliers, including a number of global US textile companies.
