Nanoscale material solutions company NanoHorizons Inc., has announced that winter apparel brand Turtle Fur is to use its SmartSilver anti-odour technology in its new winter collections. SmartSilver will initially be used for a variety of hats, neck gators and some balaclavas, to be released to retailers in 2007.

SmartSilver is said to be permanent, effective and simple to use in manufacturing, and deliver the antimicrobial properties of silver without the high cost or manufacturing complications previously associated with silver-based products.
