In a special focus on clothing at work, the publication notes that growth sectors in the mature markets of Western Europe and the USA include protective wear, driven predominantly by legislation, and career wear, driven by image. In contrast, the workwear market is fairly stagnant or in decline, in line with the demise of heavy industry in these regions, with the developing world offering the greatest opportunities for growth.
