Delta Apparel reduces its Q2 forecast
10/01/2007
US-based manufacturer and distributor of branded and private label activewear apparel, Delta Apparel, has lowered its expectations for second quarter revenues, with the new figure expected to be between $72 million and $73 million compared with the previous forecast of $74 million to $78 million. For the full fiscal year, the company is lowering its sales expectations to between $315 million and $330 million from its prior guidance of $325 million to $340 million.
According to the company, second quarter performance was impacted by slower than projected sales in its non-branded activewear business, which failed to meet projected targets by approximately $5 million.
