Adidas acquires Reebok distribution rights in Turkey

German sporting goods company the adidas Group has bought the distribution rights for the Reebok brand in Turkey from RBK Spor Urunleri. Effective April 1, adidas Spor Malzemeleri Satis ve Pazarlama A.S. will become the exclusive distributor of Reebok products. Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.

Buying out Reebok distributors and joint ventures around the globe will provide the adidas Group with annual revenue synergies totalling at least €200 million by 2009.
