Portland-based performance footwear company Keen Footwear has opted to use Lawson Software’s new QuickStep Fashion—an industry-specific, pre-configured ERP application package. Keen has licensed Lawson Manufacturing, Financials,  CRM and e-Business suites to help improve the company’s operational efficiencies and provide a platform for future growth.

The software is said to enable companies to plan a mix of style-based (e.g., style, colour, size) and non-style products across complex global supply chains; offer shorter delivery lead-times and on-time delivery; manage inventory levels to provide good customer service levels whilst controlling the level of capital tied up in inventory; keep track of financial information; establish better supply chain visibility; establish a single, common, up-to-date source of information; and to help to minimise the time and effort for implementing new technology.
