Saurer posts higher orders and sales
Switzerland-based manufacturer of spinning, texturising, twisting and embroidery systems Saurer booked orders worth €2,030 million in 2006, an increase of 39% compared with the previous year’s €1,464 million. Sales of €1,896 million were 21% above the previous year’s figure. At the end of the year, the order backlog in the textile division was €586 million, the highest level ever recorded by the company.
