Family-owned Irish company Bond Safety has won the distribution rights for CAT workwear in both Ireland and the UK. The contract was signed earlier this month and was previously held by UK-based Panworld Clothing. It is now expected that Bond Safety’s workforce will double over the next two years. Based in County Monaghan in the Republic of Ireland, the company has been working with the CAT brand since 1999. There are three CAT manufacturing plants in Northern Ireland employing 3,000 people and two manufacturing facilities in England. Its global workforce is 92,000 in manufacturing and 102,000 in its dealer network.
