NanoHorizons introduces SmartSilver for wool

US-based custom nanoscale materials engineering company NanoHorizons, Inc. has launched a new SmartSilver product to provide permanent anti-odour/anti-microbial properties to 100% wool, using typical fabric and garment dye systems.

The new product joins the company’s current line of SmartSilver for polyester, nylon, polypropylene, cotton and rayon.

SmartSilver is said to be a permanent, safe technology that is fully compatible with existing manufacturing processes for fibre and fabrics. It can be used to create odour-resistant undergarments, hats, gloves, socks, T-shirts, sweaters, shoe linings, etc.
