DyStar opens textile service centre in Shanghai

German-based supplier of products and services for the textile industry DyStar, has officially opened its new service centre for the textile industry in Shanghai, China, which will provide a range of value-adding services for textile finishers and retailers in China and other parts of Asia.

The 3000 m2 building is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory dyeing and printing machines and testing equipment for a spectrum of requirements including wet fastness and light fastness tests. The centre will also develop solutions geared specifically to local needs.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, head of the DyStar activities in China, Eric Hopmann stressed the importance of the new location, “Our new service centre in Shanghai extends our presence in China and enables us to build a bridge between international and local retailers and textile mills in Asia and China.”

The extensive service offering of DyStar Textile Services is central to DyStar’s bid to differentiate itself from its competitors.
