VF Outdoor, Inc., a subsidiary of branded apparel firm VF Corporation, has completed its acquisition of travel gear company Eagle Creek, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

VF Outdoor expects the Eagle Creek brand to add approximately $30 million to its 2007 revenues and to sustain high single-digit sales growth over the next several years.

Founder and president of Eagle Creek, Steve Barker, will retain his post as manager of the brand and will report to president of VF Outdoor Dave Gatto. Executive vice president Ricky Schlesinger will also continue in his current role, reporting to Nona Barker. The company will remain in its current location in Vista, California.
