Record Q4 revenue at Wolverine World Wide

Branded active lifestyle, work, outdoor sport and uniform footwear company Wolverine World Wide, Inc. has reported record revenue for its fourth quarter and 2006 fiscal year—its sixth consecutive year of record results.

The company reported revenue totalling $1.142 billion for the full year 2006, a 7.6% increase over 2005 revenue of $1.061 billion.

For the fourth quarter, revenue totalled $341.7 million, a 6.5% increase over fourth quarter 2005 revenue of $321 million.

According to president and COO Blake Krueger, "The Outdoor Group set the pace, led by Merrell Footwear, which posted strong double-digit revenue and earnings improvements.”
