Coolmax with wool launched at Pitti Filati

Together with Invista, AdvanSA unveiled its latest innovation at last week’s Pitti Filati held in
AdvanSA has developed a special qualifying polyester staple fibre in lengths that are compatible with traditional woollen fibre processing to create Coolmax fabrics in a true wool blend.
The soft and lightweight fabrics made from wool with Coolmax are machine washable and have proven physiological benefits, that, depending on customer’s needs, can be applied to a whole new range of clothing styles for leisure and ready-to-wear as well as for sportswear, intimate apparel and corporate wear.
Furthermore as the fabrics are lightweight, the seasonality of wool garments can extended into spring and even summer applications.
