Umbro launches new England kit and matchball

In spite of the new design being leaked before its official launch, UK-based sportswear manufacturer Umbro has unveiled the new 2007 collection of performance products for the England football team which features new 'Control' technologies in the new home kit, football and performance footwear. These products are now available for purchase.

The new England Home Kit, including the X Boot Destroyer, and England X Ball II will be used during the friendly between England and Spain, on February 7.

The shirts incorporate the company’s Climate Control Technology, integrating a new fabric called 'Trilogy'; a three-stage thermodynamic performance material, tested at Loughborough University's sport science department. The fabric is designed to control the microclimate between the skin and the fabric thus helping to regulate the body's temperature. It is also said to control vapour, moisture and heat.
