North Carolina-based manufacturer of polyether-based spandex RadiciSpandex Corp. has promoted global sales manager Marty Moran to CEO. Current CEO Rob Rebello will transition from his current post to a position on the company’s board of directors, effective February 28. The changes follow a decision by Mr Rebello to head up a new US operation for an Italian firm. 

The company produces spandex deniers ten to 1680 for markets including: intimate apparel, swimwear, activewear, ready-to-wear, sportswear, denim, hosiery and socks. RadiciSpandex Corp. is a US subsidiary of Italy’s Radici Group, which employs over 4,900 employees at 48 production units in 15 countries. The group focuses on chemicals, plastics, fibres, textiles and auxiliary activities.
